Klutz Book of Paper Airplanes

GENERAL FEATURES: Master making paper airplanes with KLUTZ KLUTZ award winning how-to books have been favorites for years and this book by Doug Stillinger is no exception. Making paper airplanes doesn’t feel like science. And it’s not quite art. Near as we can figure launching a regular old piece of paper into the sky so that it soars is pure magic. We present a step-by-step guide to folding aerobatic amazements. The ten airplanes in this book are the best we’ve ever seen. This big (10″ x 12″) book comes complete with 40 sheets of flight-tested, ready-to-fold paper, printed on both sides in a variety of 20 colorful patterns, including leopard print, wood grain, hot rod flames and lose-it-on-the-lawn grass. It’s everything you need to rule the skies. 2004 Parents’ Choice Gold Award. Not intended for children under the age of seven.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Fabulous fun at any age
We bought this book at the science center and it was used (or abused) to the point that I just had to buy another one. My oldest has most of the folding techniques memorized, but my younger son still needs some training. Excellent gift!!

5 Stars Great gift ideal
My son received his as a gift. He loved it so much we ordered extra copies for our birthday party gift stash.

5 Stars Another A+ for Klutz books
This was the hit out of all Christmas presents for my son.

the variety of planes varies from simple to more complex and they so much fun to race against each other.

Hours of entertainment.

5 Stars THE BEST PAPER AIRPLANE BOOK OUT THERE!
We’ve tried all the paper airplane books and this one is simply the best. Best instructions, best styles, best looking - AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THESE PLANES CAN REALLY FLY. My son is 6 and we have been enjoying it immensly. We do have to help him a bit, but I only imagine that the book will become more and more engrossing as he is able to do more on his own, as he gets older.

5 Stars This book warrants praise!
I’ve never written a review before, but have to say that this book definatley warrants a comment or two. Santa brought this for our six year old on Xmas and no lie, he has made about 500 airplanes already. Trust me, they’re all over my house! He takes it to his after-school program and all the kids (girls and boys) enjoy it. The instructions are easy to follow, there’s a great variety of planes with awesome names and cool paper. However, my son has yet to actually use the paper - he’s “saving” it for some reason. Three other Moms have contacted me wondering where they can get one. Great job KLUTZ!
