5 Stars Fabulous fun at any age
We bought this book at the science center and it was used (or abused) to the point that I just had to buy another one. My oldest has most of the folding techniques memorized, but my younger son still needs some training. Excellent gift!!
5 Stars Great gift ideal
My son received his as a gift. He loved it so much we ordered extra copies for our birthday party gift stash.
5 Stars Another A+ for Klutz books
This was the hit out of all Christmas presents for my son.
the variety of planes varies from simple to more complex and they so much fun to race against each other.
Hours of entertainment.
5 Stars THE BEST PAPER AIRPLANE BOOK OUT THERE!
We’ve tried all the paper airplane books and this one is simply the best. Best instructions, best styles, best looking - AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THESE PLANES CAN REALLY FLY. My son is 6 and we have been enjoying it immensly. We do have to help him a bit, but I only imagine that the book will become more and more engrossing as he is able to do more on his own, as he gets older.
5 Stars This book warrants praise!
I’ve never written a review before, but have to say that this book definatley warrants a comment or two. Santa brought this for our six year old on Xmas and no lie, he has made about 500 airplanes already. Trust me, they’re all over my house! He takes it to his after-school program and all the kids (girls and boys) enjoy it. The instructions are easy to follow, there’s a great variety of planes with awesome names and cool paper. However, my son has yet to actually use the paper - he’s “saving” it for some reason. Three other Moms have contacted me wondering where they can get one. Great job KLUTZ!

5 Stars Absolutley Amazing
Got it for my boyfriend’s 4 yr old daughter and she loved it. Wears the cape all the time. The book is cute and funny. A must have for any superhero fan.
5 Stars Super Book!
We gave this book to our grandson, who is five, and he loved it. The cape closes loosely and comfortably with velcro, and it appears to be of good quality fabric. We loved the non-violent feel of the book, and there is a good assortment of easy-to-make masks and wrist guards included. (Yarn worked well for the masks; it’s the only thing not included in the kit.) Our superhero spent the entire afternoon jumping, sliding and running, searching for good deeds to perform. He even overcame his fear of bumble bees for a little while, because superheros are afraid of nothing, dontcha know.
5 Stars Superhero to the rescue
Great little kit for little boys. My son got this as a gift at age 2 1/2 and is still playing with it at age 4 1/2. The cape is such a great vibrant red. It’s hard to find a nice cape like that. We didn’t have any problems with our velcro as it is still working 2 years later. The masks and stickers are fun but are of limited duration. It might have been nice to have a cloth made mask but then, they couldn’t pick and choose the patterns that they would want. The cape is the best thing about the kit. I have bought several of these as gifts for my son’s friends and their parents have told me what a great gift it is.
3 Stars Slightly disappointed
This is such a great idea, since there’s not a lot out there in the way of dress-up toys for little boys. However, one problem we had with ours… the velcro wore out WAY too quick. It won’t stick together anymore and my son gets annoyed as it keeps falling off. It is inconvenient to have to replace the velcro so soon.
5 Stars Nana
Bought this book for 2 grandsons ages 6 and 3 and they love it. It is very clever and funny!

4 Stars Clever idea, but might be hard to make your own
My kids have dabbled in making simple flip books before, so when I saw this, I thought it might spark more creativity. Basically the book has 8 flip books that they have started for you (about 2 x 6 inches each), and you finish it up with your own sketches. Their flip books have nice backgrounds already printed on them, like a frog on a rock, and they give you instructions on where to draw the fly and the frogs tongue. Each book has about 35 pages and it is pretty cool when they get one done. Included are the clips to hold the flip book together and a few little markers to use for coloring. It does not include any blank pages to make your own flip books from scratch, and the paper they use is thicker than regular printing paper. 3×5 card would probably work well.
Still, it is pretty fun, although once you rip out all the flip books, you will have a shell of a book that has a little bit of info in it, but won’t be something you want to store.
5 Stars An addicting product
My son is 8. He’s addicted to video games. But when he’s grounded, he’s not allowed to use them. I have despaired of finding any activity that interests him as much as Mario games on the Wii…until his 8th birthday party, when a friend gave him this Quick Flip Books project as a gift. He has spent the last three days working on this, with only brief interludes to go play outside or whatever. Video games have not been touched! He’s obsessed with the flip books and I only wish there were more (different) flip book project kits like this one. It’s a real winner.
